The 'Rauschmayer' wedding ring workshop was founded in 1963 by Roland Rauschmayer, who started the business from scratch at just twenty years old in Pforzheim, Germany's renowned jewellery centre. Now led by second-generation head Chris Roy Rauschmayer, it is one of Europe's largest wedding ring manufacturers. Every pair of rings is hand-finished, and since 1963 each piece has been stamped with the 'lucky dove' mark symbolising an eternal promise, backed by a 25-year quality guarantee. As a founding member of the Initiative deutscher Trauringhersteller (Alliance of German Wedding Ring Manufacturers), the brand insists on 100% German manufacturing, with materials also sourced from conflict-free regions.
